GDM autologin asks for password

Hi
I have running GDM 2.4.4.7 on FreeBSD 5.2.
After enabling automatic login on GDM it still asks
for the specified users password.
How can I tell GDM not to ask for a password on
automatic login?
Do I have to change something in /etc/pam.d/gdm?
