I want to excuse myself if I mixed up some issues.
I first thought, that glib might contain some grafical gnome stuff, that
we don't need, but that is wrong, glib seems to be useful and stable,
so it's ok to use it.
When I thought over the use of the tree interface, a new question came
into me head:
When I am finished with the pascal-headers for gdome, I want to write
pascal header for libxslt.
Libxslt is placed on top of the tree interface.
It would be cool to put date into the dom using the GDOME interface and
than query it with XPATH and make a transformation with libxslt.
I have no idea yet, how to do that, but I want to suggest to start
thinking
about it.
