I don't think so, but IIRC Geary is smart enough and if someone writes 
to your supplementary address the From address will be set 
automatically to it. For sure you know it already.
So what you want is having it as default also when you start a new

I've been asking myself the same question in the last months.
I've seen a few new developers submitting patches though. 
Unfortunately, also the review process seems a bit slow, for example:
