What exactly the plugin do? Bookmark lines in the document or bookmark documents to open them easily?

I cannot gunzip the document, when I try to open it an error occurs (File is not in gzip format)

Hi, list.  I have created an update to a previous Bookmarks plugin I made.  It has a couple of small interface improvements, and now supports N-level bookmark submenus.

I was hoping to get a person or two to test it out, to ensure that it installs fine and possibly add a couple of dummy bookmarks.  (If by any chance you already use the original, this new version will quietly import your old bookmarks.)
