[Gimp-developer] denoise/edge detect

I found this algorithm to try and remove noise from a picture, but it seems
to also work as an edge detector... it seems to yield different results on
my sample image than any of the edge detectors built into gimp, so I
thought maybe it would be interesting. I'll be monitoring if anyone feels
like discussing it...
