[gitg] Disable automatic resizing?

Hey everyone,

I've been trying to find a way to disable automatic resizing of gitg (searched google, the trac page, and the mailing list archives), but nothing has popped up.  I believe that it's good practice to limit commit message widths to 80 characters, but not everyone does and every time I search for a term that drops me in one of these bad commits, the window expands beyond the screen width.

Is there any way to turn this off?
