Hello Damon and everybody
I work on Linux (Suse62 kernel 2.2.14) and I ve got packages (rpm) below
installed:
cyrix150:~/granup/project2/src # rpm -qa |grep auto
autoconf-2.13-36
automake-1.4-31
In fact the pb was in the way I used the code you gave to me regarding
the file "configure.in". Your code was OK but I put it at the wrong
place in my "configure.in" file. The right place was before AC_OUTPUT
rules. I forgot also in the code rules AC_SUBST to enable substitution
of the both variables. This is James (Cameron) who gives me the solution
regarding those pbs. Now all works OK and I ve no conflicts between the
new libXML2-2.2.0 of the W3C and the one that are used in Glade.
Congratulations for the Glade product
and Thanks Damon for your help.
Bye
Marc
