I'm porting a modeling system from Microsoft to linux. Until I develop
turn-key solutions to be delivered to clients all modeling will be done
here. Rather than use ncurses for the UI I'd rather use gtk+.
Other than a menu, the only widget I need right now is a window which will
display program output and allow me to enter commands or data. I'm not sure
what widget to use. If I understand correctly, the textview widget is a
movable window (or viewport) to something underlying it. What I want is the
gtk+ equivalent of a virtual terminal for text input and output.
What should I use?
TIA,
Rich
