Dear All,
 
   I tried using gnome_canvas_get_scroll_region command so as to calculate the centre of the canvas.  
However, this command always crashed my program .  When i left this command out, my program worked very well. 
 Is there a bug in the command? Some times instead of crushing, i obtained the following error msg
 
"(interface:4364): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: file gobject.c:line XXXX (g_object_ref): assertion 'G_IS_OBJECT 
(object)' failed"  
 
The XXXX can be 1339, 1337, 510 etc.
 

or 
 
"(interface:4364): Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkwidget.c:line 2993 (gtk_widget_event): assertion 'GTK_IS_WIDGET 
(widget)' failed"  

 
 
Any ideas or comments?
