[Glade-users] Project compilation problems

Dear all,

I'm using an up-to-date version of Gentoo with both autoconf-2.13 and
2.57 but when I try and compile a project I get the following error:

Please add the files
  codeset.m4 gettext.m4 glibc21.m4 iconv.m4 isc-posix.m4 lcmessage.m4
  progtest.m4
from the /usr/share/aclocal directory to your autoconf macro directory
or directly to your aclocal.m4 file.
You will also need config.guess and config.sub, which you can get from
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/config/.

Running autoheader...
FATAL ERROR: Autoconf version 2.53 or higher is required for this script
Running automake --gnu  ...
Running autoconf ...
FATAL ERROR: Autoconf version 2.53 or higher is required for this script
Running ./configure --enable-maintainer-mode ...
./autogen.sh: line 155: ./configure: No such file or directory

For some reason the autoconf wrapper doesn't pick up on the fact that autoconf > 2.53 is needed.

Can anyone help me out with this?
