Hi,
   Have you called gtk_widget_show() on the treeview that you build in
your app ? if you add a treeview to your glade project, is its
visible property set to TRUE ?

Also, most probably bad practice to pull a huge project and shift some
bits and hope it works, can you reproduce your problem in simple test
case that you took a minute to write up from scratch ?
