However I think for now it's perfectly acceptable to dist win32/osx
binaries of Glade 3.10 with the python plugin disabled until the
gobject-introspection build eventually get's fixed.
Ok, I'll see what I can do...
Also... I wonder what exactly is the part where the
gobject-introspection build breaks,
It goes further than simply not building, it hasn't been ported yet.
See https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=653167
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=652827
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=650763 and
https://github.com/dieterv/gobject-introspection/commit/f89cdf2620726e8f25a3341e0316663d382a90fc.
Some of that commit is reviving Tor's patch from
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=620566
Then there's the work on py2cairo and PyGObject that needs
to be cleaned up and tested before it can all go to the
various upstream maintainers/bug databases.
I hope you're not regretting wondering about this now ;)
The script on the bug report assumes build/mswindows as sooner or
later the "32" in there is going to be irrelevant. Also that same
script should work fine to build 64 bit binaries by simply putting
mingw-w64's 64-bit producing toolchain on PATH before the 32-bit
producing mingw-w64 or mingw.org version. But I don't mind changing
it if you prefer win32.
I don't really care about the name so much.
Ok, I'll leave the name as it is then.
mvg,
Dieter
