Necessary Glade version to build a program

Hello. I am trying to build a software that requires Glade 2. configure says:

"checking for GLADE2... no"

"configure: error: *** libglade2 not found!"

 

So I want to know which(s) version(s) of glade have this required libglade2. Can be any glade 2.0, like this one? https://download.gnome.org/sources/glade/2.10/. Or  can be a newer one?
