I might as well take this opportunity to say something that's been
low-level annoying me for a while. Can we stop the (Microsoft-started)
trend of "My This" and "Joe User's That"? I mean, if you think about
that, the only other products that do that are children's toys: "My
First Chapter Book" or "Little Johnny's Very Own Set of Crayons." How
about just "Preferences?"
Obviously these things are subjective and they can subtly affect the
feel of the desktop, so I'm not going to campaign to hard against "My
Foobar." But I thought I'd mention my little pet peeve.
