I think that this sort of dependency has been vetoed in the past; the
only extra-gtk+ widget supported by gail is gnome-canvas.
Our approach to most extra-gtk+ widgets so far has been that the ATK
support
has been bundled with the widget library; for instance ATK support in
libzvt
and gtkhtml2 is included with the libraries.
Unless the code you are adding is quite a large chunk I would suggest
the same approach for libgnomeui. A possible alternative would be to
place the code in libgail-gnome, but to date libgail-gnome has been
used solely for support of out-of-process (i.e. bonobo) components
and thus has dependencies on libbonobo and libbonoboui. (Then again,
so does libgnomeui, doesn't it?)
