using gnome-head about 2 weeks old... running gnome2 head session...
when i:
start gok (an gnome onscreen keyboard that interrogates applications
through the at-spi) in one terminal, and
export GTK_MODULES="gail:atk-bridge" in another terminal and start gedit,
run the gok and interrogate the gedit application for a while,
close the gok,
i get a whole bunch of leaked object output messages in the terminal
which launched the gok.
e,g.:
leaked object gedit, role invalid
leaked object , role scroll-bar
leaked object , role menu-item
leaked object , role menu-item
leaked object Untitled 1, role menu-item
leaked object , role menu-item
leaked object bin/, role table-cell
leaked object , role text
leaked object , role menu-item
leaked object , role unknown
leaked object , role separator
leaked object ./, role table-cell
leaked object Close, role push-button
leaked object , role menu-item
leaked object Show Cursor Position, role check-menu-item
leaked object , role panel
how should i interpret this? am i doing something incorrectly?
glancing at the at-spi code it appears the objects are being kept in a
hash table for some reason...
if anyone could clarify that would be great.
cheers,
~~David
