I think one should not count on Right/Left, this is a locale-specific 
behavior in some GUIs and arguably should be so in Gnome... in RTL 
language locales people may expect "bottom left" instead of "bottom 
right" for "OK" or its equivalent.  Widget layout engines should respond 
to this locale property...
