I'm getting a similar but not quite the same error- when I run
gnopernicus, I get 'welcome to gnopernicus' on brlmonitor and an
'Activation of server
OAFIID:GNOME_Speech_SynthesisDriver_Festival:proto0.1 succeeded.' So.. I
/think/ things are installed correctly. But after that I get
'initializing driver... Driver initialization failed :-(.' Is that an
error caused by more installation problems? Possibly sound-server
issues? Any suggestions for diagnosis?
