Hi, Cheryl. Garnome 1.83 is fine, but the configuration is blowing up  when
it hits the entries for freetts. I'm not sure why this is, but it is getting
pretty frustrating.
It's an error I have never seen before.
The configure script locates my java, javac, and idlj binaries just fine,
and then hits the freetts stuff, and blows up.
