Hi, one more additional comment. There are now Red Hat and Debian packages for festival 1.4.2, and for people running Red Hat or debian they can simply grab them from the net or from there install cd's.

It is my understanding Red Hat 8.0 has festival right on the installation cd's so that should make things nice for us Red Hat users.
