jhbuild error

Hi,
I'm atttempting to run jhbuild and received the following error:
raise SAXReaderNotAvailable("No parsers found", None)
xml.sax._exceptions.SAXReaderNotAvailable: No parsers found
python seems to be looking for a parser, but can't find one. Any ideas?
