I don't really know if anyone is going to have answers for this or not.
I was installing the 1.2.1 version of the gnome java access bridge, and it asked meto upgrade at-spi, so I did that. the version I upgraded to with that is 1.3.9.
Well, I started gnome with no problems gnopernicus was talking, then all the sudeen it got real quiet, and the load on my machine went through the roof, till I ended up with: 18:16:21 up 21:08, 8 users, load average: 49.24, 42.37, 24.75
It was using all of my ram (128mb) and 210mb of swap space.
The thing I'm wondering is, what could possibley be causing such a mess, yeah, I know I don't have a lot of memory, but that can't be the only problem here. What could flatten my machine in a few minutes like that that's inside gnome, or any of theese two latest apps I've installed?
If someone could please give me some answers to this, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
