Brian,
Of course I am happy to help in any way I can (given that, like most of
us, I am pretty swamped). If you would like to put me on a cc list for
reviewing drafts maybe that would work. Or simply ping the lists when
the page is updated.
If there are plans to create a document from the client perspective of
the at-spi, I would be happy to apply a little more knowledge there.
Though I should fix all the gok bugs first instead of corrupting new AT
client developers ;-)
cheers,
David

Accessibility Developers:
I assume many of you are familiar with the "Gnome Accessibility for
Developers" document. It can be viewed here:
http://www.gnome.org/~calum/gad/
This document explains how to implement and AtkObject and how to write
in-process (ferret style) test programs (though I am sure this section
is far from complete). The section "Making Custom Components
Accessibile" is currently only in the form of an outline. The document
finishes with User Interface Guidelines for supporting accessibility.
Since it was written before at-spi (and therefore at-poke) existed, there
is no information about out-of-process development and testing
techniques. In fact, this document was written while libgail was still
in development, if that gives any sense of its age.
Now that the GNOME community in general is much more involved with
accessibility, it is an excellent time to work on this document and
make it more up-to-date and useful. I am looking for volunteers to
review the accuracy/usefulness of the information currently there,
and also to provide new information.
It would be especially useful to get the perspectives of people who
have been working to make various programs (Evolution, Mozilla, etc.)
accessible. My hope is to capture various useful programming,
debugging, and testing techniquees in an updated version of this
document. If you have any information to offer, then please let
me know!
Thanks!
Brian
