This was sent to me and not to the list so I'm sending it back out to list. I'm
noticing that with most messages I'm getting from this list, the default
recipient is the sender rather than the list. so if you send a message to this
list, you either get back multipple copies of the replies 9they go both to me
personally and to the list) or I get a reply and the list never sees it. I don't
know if this is something that can be changed in the list defaults.

Cheryl, I have absolutely know idea what I did.  I was working with someone
who just gave me instructions.  I'm great with using Windows and it's
technical chalanges because I teach it as well as troubleshoot however,
Linux is as foreign to me as a second language.  I did however get it to run
from the run dialog in Gnome.  So if I type startx and then go in to the Run
dialog with alt-F2 and then type the letter g and hit enter Gnopernicus
starts.
