Gnopernicus and redhat 8.0

Hi,
Has anyone succeeded in installing and running Gnopernicus on top of Redhat
8.0? I have heard that it should be very difficult due to Redhat handling
the gnome environment a bit differently.
Should I go for the beta of Phoebe instead?
