Re: problem configuring X on redhat 9



Hello, Nick. There is no longer a Xconfigurator in Red Hat and was changed
to the redhat-config-xfree86  tool.
I usually do my x-windows setups during install which is easier than doing
it after the fact, because if you do it during the install allot of the
values are probed.

It sounds like the errors:
ID:   None
 Name: None
 HorizSync: None
 VertSync:  None

It sounds as if you haven't given Red Hat the virtical and horizontal sink
rates of your monitor.
Do you know what your monitor is and what sink rates it can take?
