Hi all,
I have installed gnome 2.4 on a redhat 9.0 box.
Gnopernicus is speaking pretty well, however, I have an application which
requires an older version of libc. When I first tried to install this older
version, gnopernicus stopped talking alltogether. THe braille interface to
gnopernicus still worked, but no speech.
Any suggestions on how to track down the problem? I wonder if it could be
the alsa drivers installed wit hredhat, because I belive I recompiled
gnopernicus from cvs after I installed the older libc packages.
Libc cannot be relocated, so I don't believe there is a way to have both
the old and new versions of the package available at the same time.
Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
