Hello everyone,
I'd like to ask how it is possible to find out in the gnome-speech
output driver what language is being used in Gnopernicus or how can
the user switch languages?
For example the interface when I run Gnopernicus on my machine is a
Czech one, which is good, but my gnome-speech output driver can't
distinguis it (yet), so the end synthesizer is trying to pronounce it
as if it were english words, which is not understandable.
Also, I'd like to reassure me that the text that comes from Gnopernicus
to gnome-speech and then to the drivers is UTF-8?
Another question is, how do parameter setting functions work in
gnome-speech? I've registered pitch, rate and volume functions and
they work great. I'd also like to register e.g. punctuation mode
settings and spelling mode, but I don't know how to switch them on and
off in gnopernicus? Also, does Gnopernicus support a way how to set
rate and pitch on-fly instead of modifying the default values in the
voice settings dialog?
Thanks for your help,
Hynek
