Hi, Krister.
I have had much of the same problem with evolution as you are having. One
way to get at the message text is to reply to the message which allows you
then to arrow through the original message text. It is a major pain, but it
sometimes works.
Balsa seams to be alot more accessible than evolution, but my problem with
balsa is pop works good, but sending messages out via smtp causes the email
client to crash sometimes.
As far as colors, themes, backgrounds, etc they do not effect gnopernicus
proformence with Gnome apps. What effects proformence is how well
applications interact with the Gnome accessibility API, what widgits are
used, etc.
I'm not real clear on how the Gnome API really works and which libraries do
what, but I do know the majority of accessibility strongly depends on how
well applications can comunicate to gnopernicus through the Gnome
Accessibility API.
