Hello,
I just did a fresh fc3 install from the iso's at linux-speakup.org, and
configured
gnopernicus to work fine with festival.
Next, I installed j2sdk1.4.2_03 from java.sun.com to /usr/java/j2sdk1.4.2_03.
Next I checked out java-access-bridge from the gnome cvs repository.
I compiled java-access-bridge and installed it to /opt/jab
I then created symlinks for /opt/jab/share/jar/gnome-access-bridge.jar and
/opt/jab/share/jar/jnav.jar to
/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.2_03/jre/lib/ext.
verified using locate command:
/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.2_03/jre/lib/ext/gnome-access-bridge.jar
/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.2_03/jre/lib/ext/jnav.jar
My .orbitrc file contains the following:
ORBIIOPUNIX=1
ORBIIOPIPv4=1
When I start gnome, and open a terminal window and attempt to run the
notepad demo
shipped with the jdk, I get:
Warning: Cannot convert string
"-b&h-lucida-medium-r-normal-sans-*-140-*-*-p-*-iso8859-1" to type FontStruct

Any help greatly appreciated :-)
