BRLTTY, Gnome and Gnopernicus

Right, I've got suse 9.3 installed. For some reason I haven't got sound but I'll tackle that in a while.  I've downloaded BrlTTY and would like to know how to get it working with gnopernicus so I can use the pacmate display.  I'd also like it to start if I open a console window within Gnome. I think it was Thomas ward who first enlightened me to this idea.

Just a quick suggestion in case any gnopernicus developers are on the list. Support of hardware synthasizers specifically the apollo 2 would be very appreciated in cases where the sound card isn't detected.

Thanks, as always your help is appreciated
