hja,
The editor is not a polished tool but has seen some improvement in both
window size, and functionality with the patch I posted recently to:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=139379

Hi there,
Downloaded 1.0.5 as a Debian Package. Trying out the editor. It is
bigger than one screen and cannot be resized vertically, so can't read
all of it. Is this a bug?
To answer your question directly. It is a known but undocumented issue.
I'm sporadically working on fixing the problem.
Of more interest is, can I create keys which can hold a string of
symbols, e.g., a word or a phrase?
Yes you can acheive this using keys that have multiple outputs.
cheers,
David
