gnopernicus problems from garnome build

Hello,
I just built garnome 2.10.1.1 on a fc3 system.
I build the desktop modules and then gnopernicus and its dependencies.
When I start gnome, My braille display comes to life and I can see what is
happening, but I get no speech.

Also, most of the keyboard functionality is mising I cannot open the
applications menu or go to the desktop.

The log of my sessionis as follows:
