Yes, it happens when you move your mouse around the screen. The faster you move it, the more corrupted the magnified image appears. Also notice how slow menu entries are "coloured" when you move the mouse over them. I thought this is a hardware problem, because I have an antiquated ATI RADEON 7000 VE (64 MB VRAM) graphics card that can't do better than ~500 FPS, but kmag runs smoothly and so does the Windows magnifier.
