		Invitation to the Open House at CDAC, Mumbai

The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, Mumbai (formerly known as National Centre for Software Technology) is a scientific society of the Department of Information Technology involved in Research and Development into the area of Software Technology. The current areas of R&D focus at the centre include Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, e-Learning, Network Security, Databases, Graphics, Localization and Open Source Software. Apart from R&D, the centre also undertakes development projects, conducts a variety of education/training programs and offers consultancy to

industry.

CDAC Mumbai is organising an OPEN HOUSE on the 18th of February 2006 at its Juhu campus where delegates can interact with our R&D staff and get a feel of the various research/development/educational activities in progress at the centre. This will broaden their exposure to the field of IT and pave way for closer interaction with CDAC Mumbai. There will be demonstrations of systems developed by us, presentations by some of the reseachers, etc. This is also an opportunity for people to get a feel of our research labs and know more about our educational programs.
