Re: gok usage

My questions are regarding a kiosk mode usage with a touchscreen only 
pointer and an onscreen kbd emulation

In this case, I would prefer leave the choice to the operator to hide or 
show the keyboard, because, the interface theme buttons size are 
dedicated for touchscreen

In this case, gok will only appear if date input is necessary.
Otherwise, if the operator only wants to dismiss a dialog, he will only 
have to click on abort button or (close button of the window) .
May be few screenshots will be helpful to better understand.

I think this is an additional mode.

What do you mean with docked mode ? inside the bottom toolbar of gnome 
?At this time I do not know how to dock app in gnome.

Regarding keyboard inhibition after a while , my scenario :
User wants to input data
he presses "show kbd" button  on display to activate keyboard.
he types  the data
he no key has been stroke for 30s , kbd automatically hides.

Is it another extended mode may be not available at the moment ?
