Apparently both slackware and debian only built their versions of gnome up
to the point that they will only accommodate partially sighted
accessibility to gnome through gnopernicus. Debian is missing 6
dependencies and slackware depending on gnome flavor may be missing more
or less. Slackware is so modified now that the standard gnome from
gnome.org can no longer build on it successfully anymore. If someone has
an url for drop-line gnome I may try that version of gnome on a few
systems here but it's not likely going to be a high priority project for a
little while.
