I did manage to get gnopernicus talking several times on the ubuntu livecd
6.06 disc I have but am still not sure of the timing to use to adjust the
boot menu. Last time I did it I used 15 seconds after cd started spinning
up. That wasn't correct since gnopernicus didn't start and I had to do
alt-f2 then type in gnopernicus and hit enter to start it. One thing that
was discovered is you can't be running in gnome panel so I tried alt-f2
again and tried typing install <enter> to install the ubuntu system onto a
disc I have available for it. I never did manage to get the install
running and talking since gnopernicus would allow itself to be minimized
then always come back and not give any speech from other applications
until once when I hit keys with an item I was moving then I briefly went
onto the ubuntu background desktop area and as quickly left that. What
can I do with the keyboard once gnopernicus is started up so as to close
gnome panel and get this installation started? Just the timing for when
to hit f5 then 3 down-arrow and 2 enter keys to bring this monster up
talking has taken the better part of the free time in this last week.
Well, I like picking locks and just think this is street legal!
