Re: gnopernicus-magnifier. Full screen magnifier with dummy driver

Hi Ermengol,

This is a problem with our current magnification architecture. We are looking forward to magnifiers that are based on several X extensions - most especially the COMPOSITE extension - which will allow us to avoid this bit of hackery. Unfortunately we aren't quite ready with those yet.

Hello,
I'm trying to use the gnopernicus-magnifier as a full screen magnifier.
I followed the instructions at:
http://www.gnome.org/learn/access-guide/2.10/apas03.html

I did it with the dummy driver, but this approach have a problem and
is that you have two displays (one on the left to the other)
One display is the zoomed version of the other. But the mouse can move
freely from on display to another, so if you are working with the
zoomed display and you move the mouse to the left (or right, it
depends on X config) then you "move" to the non-zoomed display. And
this is a little bit annoying :)

Does any body knows about a workaround for this? or any other approach
to use full screen magnification on linux?

Thanks a lot
