Hello list. As a new user I do not claim to understand everything concerning orca, but I do have a few questions concerning problems with a few applications.
1. within the latest build of firefox from todays trunk:
a. do not seem to have access to hot keys: if mem serves me correctly, f is used for form, e for edit etc.
b. not related to orca: how does one import favorites into that browser?
2. does orca work with thunderbird?
a. how does one use orca to import an addressbook? I went through the process of trying to access the csv file from within my home folder and could only find the sub-folders within the /home/xxx e.g. my specific user folder. any help is most certainly appreciated!
b. how does one get the focus to the message list? I have turned off the "preview" pane. Use of the tab key does not focus the message list! also using the latest daily build.
3. within evolution:
a. backspacing over text within an open message: one does not hear the character that is being errased!
my system info is:
pc:
1 gb ram, intel p4 2.8 ghz,
vid card: nvidia g force mx-4000
atspi: not sure how to check its build as a new user
orca: latest svn patch as of today: 1/28/2008
fedora 8 speakup kernel 2.6.23
evolution ver: 2.12.3
latest yum update has been run as of 9 a.m this morning
any other questions or to write me off list:
