I really like this idea. I think it would be very helpful to have a positive 'story' told about GNOME 3 A11y. I think that the following facts are really important: that the A11y team is mostly volunteers, and that they are dedicated to voluntary compliance with accessibility principles (as someone who has been in the accessibility community outside of GNOME for a long time, I think that this is something worth emphasizing. All too often accessibility happens only when there is a court order). It might be nice to list the accessibility features that GNOME 3 has, and explain which features need major work and financial support). Also, Joanie has mentioned that there will be computer science students from two schools working on A11y this fall. It might be good to mention initiatives like that one, since it is a way that GNOME is raising awareness of accessibility in the larger community. Finally, it would be great to talk about the fact that GNOME is free software, and since many people with disabilities have fixed incomes, that this is a way to provide technologies to those who could otherwise not afford them.

Anyway, that is just my two cents :)
