Hi,

To generate a .deb package run, after a successful compilation in 
*release* mode (otherwise you will get an error),

  make package

You can also generate other binary packages (rpm, tgz, ...) by editing 
CMakeLists.txt file in the root folder.

Note that binary package generation support is still preliminary (even 
for Windows) and needs additional work (for instance no dependencies are 
expressed).
