Bonobo Clipboard 0.1 "Hey! It compiles!"
=======================================
This is the first release of the Bonobo Clipboard, a moniker-based
clipboard supporting both embedding and linking. Accessing it is done
via the Bonobo::Clipboard and Bonobo::ClipboardStore interfaces, and
the "clipboard:" moniker. Efforts are also made to make accessing the
Bonobo Clipboard via the X clipboard possible (for legacy purposes).
Documentation on how to use it is currently available in the README
file.
Please note that this is a GNOME 2.0 package. To try it, you will
have to have a working GNOME 2.0 environment, achieving which is
currently non-trivial at best.
Where to get it

About this release
------------------
* To make testing easier, two programs are included: cactus-test, which
is a very lame Bonobo component, and clipboard-test, which is an
equally lame program that accesses and modifies the Bonobo Clipboard.
* Also for testing purposes, the Bonobo-to-X proxy uses the PRIMARY
selection instead of the correct CLIPBOARD one.
* The Bonobo-to-X proxy will need a lot of tinkering not to do superflous
round-trips to the component
