gmail 0.7.5 - Another Gnome email client

A new version of gmail, a gnome email client is out.

What is gmail?

Gmail is a vfolder based email system using MySQL to store the messages. There
are no normal folders, just vfolders which are basically SQL queries. Lots of
documentation is given to make writing queries easily.

Gmail uses POP3 to download and SMTP to send. It supports multiple POP3 setups.

What is new in this release?

Many new bug fixes, better mailsetup changing via the main window, address
parsing improvements, drag and drop improvements.

Where can I get it?

http://gmail.linuxpower.org

We have tarballs and Redhat RPM's available. Other ports are in progress.
The license is GNU GPL.

The code uses autoconf/automake, and attempts to use as many gnome technologies
(such as gnome-print and glade) as possible.

Is this a new email project?
No. It has been in a extremely slow but public development for over 2 years...
It is fairly usable for basic tasks, and is very fast.

thanks,
Wayne Schuller
