Conquering Denmark

GNOME Developers plan to invade Denmark en masse on April 6. If you plan
to join the invasion forces, but have not yet
enlisted in the Hacker Army, register before 15 March via the website at
http://guadec.gnome.dk. Confirmation of your
enlistment will be sent 16 March. If you don't receive your orders, or
have any questions, e-mail sslug-guadec-cc sslug dk 

Scouting parties have been hard at work in the Danish command centers
preparing for the invasion. Reconnaissance information
is available on the website. Routes for moving the troops, sites for
base camps, and supply centers are all scouted.

The commanders have provided the following plan of attack. The first two
days have the developer troops on maneuvers. The
assault will be completed the third day with user reinforcements. (Users
may enlist on the website after 15 March.)

The developer troops will receive uniforms (name tags and a cool
t-shirt) on arrival. Rations of breakfast and lunch will be
provided all three days. Friday night continues with dinner and hacking
on site until midnight. Saturday the troops get an evening
of leave for a night on the town with the Crazy Ximian Monkeys.

Now for a few boring details... Speakers are asked to provide the
organizers with a picture (head shot to print at 5 x 4 cm at 300
dpi greyscale), a 200 word personal blurb, and a half-page abstract by
12 March. Abstracts should include an outline of the
session and topics to be discussed along with a summary. Also send a
list of any equipment or supplies required. E-mail to
