A new release of the intltool package is available. The intltool package is
a set of tools for translating the contents of data files using the gettext
translation framework.
This new release, intltool 0.12, is compatible with packages that
expect to find it under the name intltool and the old name xml-i18n-tools.
The script xml-i18n-toolize is still present, and the old autoconf macros
are still supported.
All intltool and xml-i18n-tools users should upgrade to this new version.
Changes in intltool since version 0.11:
- Handle whitespace properly in XML (Darin)
- Add support for multiline msgids and msgstrs, including test cases
(Darin)
- Add support for glib-getttextize (Jacob, Darin)
- Add doc-i18n-tool [disabled in Makefile for the moment] (Jonathan)
- Fixes to spec file (Toralf Lund, Darin)
- Fix bug in intltool-prepare if string has regex metacharacters in it
(Darin)
You can find the source code for intltool 0.12 on gnome ftp:
