ANNOUNCE: gnome-utils 1.4.1.1, the "Brm Brm Brm" release

EKIEKIEKI .......

As you would expect, there were a few minor issues with the 1.4.1
release. So this is the release that makes it perfect. Or well
almost perfect. Hmmm, maybe not almost perfect, maybe sort of OK.
Well, let's just say it sucks a little less now. Not much new,
mostly just fixes to the build, and some gtt fixes by Linas.
Of course the biggest reason to make this release is to make the
version number look more spiffy. 1.4.1 is kind of boring, 1.4.1.1
is just sort of cooler sounding.

What is gnome-utils? Well as the name would suggest these are GNOME
utilities. They're the stupid little programs that are part of every
desktop. And some that aren't part of every desktop.

So what's new in this release:

gnome-utils 1.4.1.1 (2001-10-20)

general:
	* Fixes to configure/makefile setup (Abel Cheung, Adrian Bunk, George)
	* spec file file list fixes (George)
	* Translation updates. (Stanislav Visnovsky, Carlos Perelló Marín,
Duarte Loreto, Gustavo Maciel Dias Vieira)

gtt:
	* coredump fixes (Jeff Putsch, Linas Vepstas)
	* column drawing fixes (Linas Vepstas)
	* fix for printing dates, titles and tooltips (Linas Vepstas)
	* updated man page (Linas Vepstas)

So where to get this thing?
(you might have to wait for your local mirror to update)

ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/stable/sources/gnome-utils/

RPMs are known to build by using "rpm -ta gnome-utils-1.4.1.1.tar.gz",
and they will appear at the FTP site shortly. (or longly)

Enjoy!

The gnome-utils dudes
