Application
===========

GUI browser for OpenGL/Cg effects Gee, you're nuts!

Description
===========

With fx-nx-dx you're able to browse through a collection of graphic
demos/effects using OpenGL and/or Cg. Much like the "NV Effects Browser"
developed by nVIDIA for Windows.

Enhancements
============

There's no such thing yet. Once all initial features are implemented it
will make sense to add something under this section.

Fixes
=====

pre-alpha: 30.09.2002 - Added many patches for the whole
autoconf/automake
                      procedure Thunderbird sent me today, fx-nx-dx
should
                      build/install/uninstall very smoothly now... not
only
                      on my system :)

                      - Wrote a bit more in README, NEWS so people get a
                      better idea what fx-nx-dx is all about

pre-alpha: 29.09.2002 - Removed that last hard-coded font-request

pre-alpha: 26.09.2002 - added exitFunc() to the pluggable-effect-API to
allow
                      effect-side cleanup and "housekeeping" actions

pre-alpha: 25.09.2002 - removed a lot of crap (e.g. trackball.h/c) and
also
                      got rid of a few bugs

                      - the loading of the resourcefile .ebrc is now
happening
                      in ~

                      - pixmaps (icons, splashscreen) are now loaded from
a
                      central place (compile-time dependent)

pre-alpha: 25.08.2002 - finally fullscreen OpenGL with attached
gtk-widgets
                      works, not even SDL is needed anymore

pre-alpha: 26.07.2002 - effect loading via double-click and
keyboard-selection
                      from the tree-view works now

                      - still a few problems with the dynamic popup-menus
                      attached to the OpenGL-drawing context

                      - apart from that it is nowhere near finished
