ANNOUNCE: Whale 0.2.3

Application
===========

Whale 0.2.3

Description
===========

Whale provides a simple interface to create playlists and store songs on
your Apple iPod. For example you can add songs to a playlist by simply
dragging the files from nautilus to the whale window.

Enhancements
============
* XML is no longer used to store information for reading.
  Most of the song metadata is read directly out of the iTunesDB
  now.

* Loading the database should be alot faster now.

* You can drag directories on the playlists list and thereby
  create a playlist with the name of the directory and the mp3
  files in the directory. Its also possible to drag more than
  one directory and thereby create more than one playlist.

* On startup it's checked if the current iTunesDB file on
  your iPod has been created by Whale, if not you will get
  a little information alert, which reminds you to make sure
  that all the information gets imported correctly.

  When you quit Whale, after importing a iTunesDB file which
  was not created by Whale, you get asked again if you want
  to save the iTunesDB.

Fixes
=====
* The about dialog no longer causes Whale to crash,
  when it's installed systemwide.

* In the latest releases whale would automatically write
  the iTunesDB file, even when users were not aware o

* For files which didnt had an id3 tage, sometimes they
  were written do the mp3 file on the harddisk and not
  to the one on the iPod.
