problem compiling gst-plugins from cvs

Hello again.. I've run into some field not declared problems compiling 
gst-plugins from cvs head. I'm learning C as I go so this is a training 
project to some extent. Where do the developers discuss issues relating 
to changes to the source code ? The gnome-devel-list seems to be dead.
